Bob runs a pretty good ship here. Went to the Tom Petty tribute. Had VIP seating and Bob had a VIP room set up with crackers,cheese & fruit. The fruit was excellent. The concession food could use some help. Some of the seats could stand a cleaning and some patch work as some were torn but overall a cool place.

It's amazing how much of this they were able to restore, how much was preserved. I remember walking by when I was little and it had always been abandoned as a theater. Broken glass and old movie posters. I'm so glad they were able to get funding to restore it and then made it through the pandemic, the opening couldn't have happened at a worse time. Definitely worth checking out. There's also tons of sitting areas in the lobby so it would probably make a great event space for a company Christmas party or something.

I really enjoyed my experience here. Workers and owner were friendly. They were having a technical difficulty when we arrived but asked us to wait which we did and once it was repaired they gave everyone free pop corn. Only thing was there seed to be a ventilator that was rattling which was slightly distracting . Will definitely go again.

The West Theatre is amazing! The beautiful renovation added an extra charm to our movie date night. The careful attention to detail in every corner delights me deeply and I love to feel as if I've slipped into another time. I've never left a public review on Google before but my experience demands telling all I can about this place! The prices, beer selection and staff were excellent as well.

What a wonderful place! Thanks to all who worked on this project to restore a theater where I watched movies with my mom, my aunt, and several high school heartthrobs. Support this venue by taking in a show or a movie. Great eats and drinks and a fine screen and great sound make the West the perfect place to head on a cold winter's night. Go West Duluth! (No Spirit Valley for this old Hunter!)

Just saw Star Wars and had a great experience! Comfortable, clean, great staff, best popcorn ever. Everyone needs to go to this theater - wonderful experience!

The best movie theater experience I have ever had. Clean, beautiful, historic and seats were more comfortable than most other theaters. Being able to grab a beer and some grub to bring in is a plus too!

Spacious seats, very clean. Restroom was immaculate. Tastefully decorated. Prices are decent. Staff was very friendly. The concessions could use a little more variety but that's not a huge deal. I'll gladly go there over the big chain theaters anytime.

Hands down best place north of the Metro to see a film. There's an actual Box Office, actual caring staff and an actual owner that has greeted me each time (It Chapter II and Joker). Their old school, seasoned popcorn machine is worth a taste--movie or not. Not a bad seat in the house, and they're comfy.

Place looks amazing! Great sound quality and picture. Affordable prices. Seats are comfortable, however, I am subtracting one star because the seats lean too far back that the person in front of me kept bumping my knees with their seat. And I don't have the best of knees. Overall, I'd recommend attending this establishment.

Such a beautifully renovated theater. I'm so pleased with how it turned out. Like a step back in time. Comfortable seats, good prices, friendly staff. Very, very cool. I will be attending screenings often

Beautiful place with a vintage look and feel. Definitely something we need more of in this town. The place outside draws in people, and inside has the beautiful blue room. I like that there are movies as well as on stage performances, a nice change from the standard corporate movie theater style.
